⚓️ Malik’s Madness 2026: The 130-Mile Ferry Edition! ⚓️
Malik has cooked up another legendary route for the books! This year, we are changing things up. Instead of a brutal climbing monster, Malik has designed a massive, epic loop that trades endless slog climbs for sweeping distances, beautiful coastal roads, and a cruise across the water.
We are tackling 130 miles with about 5,500 feet of elevation—it's definitely not flat, but it's a beautifully balanced, rolling route rather than a relentless hill fest.
The Logistics

Meetup Location: Central Park (59th St & 5th Ave entrance)

The Route: We roll north from Central Park up to Bridgeport, CT, catch the ferry across the Long Island Sound to Port Jefferson, and then ride all the way back home to Brooklyn.

Bonus Drop-Off Point: On the way home, the route rolls right through the Triangle. If you live in Queens or Long Island, you'll be able to easily break off from the group right there!

No Drop Policy: The ferry leaves on a strict schedule, which means we have a firm timeline to hit. We are not leaving anyone behind—the group will stick together to ensure everyone makes the boat safely and comfortably.

Ferry Tickets Required: You will need a ticket to cross from Bridgeport to Port Jeff. Avoid the lines at the dock and purchase your tickets ahead of time at www.pjferry.com.
